How To Format A Laptop
This master guide will give you complete knowledge of how to format a laptop.
Step 1: First you have to open “Windows Setup” in your system. For this, restart your system and then insert Windows CD/DVD or Bootable Pendrive
Step 2: Now it will ask you to press any key to boot from CD/DVD.
If you use CD/DVD press any key to boot but if you are using bootable Pendrive, then press F12 to open bootable manager and select “USB HDD” to load windows setup.
Step 3: Once the windows setup loaded, click on next (It will take some time to open approx 1 or 2 minutes.)
Step 4: Now click on Install Now, you will see that the system showing “Setup is Starting”.
Step 5: Now here you have to select the term and conditions and click on next.
Step 6: Now here you will get two options, the first is upgrade and the second one is custom.
Basically, you have to Click on “Custom: Install Windows Only”.
Step 7: The partitions of your laptop’s hard disk open up.
Now here you have to select the partition in which your laptop window is installed.
Make sure never to select the type system partition.
Step 8: After selecting, click on “Format” and click on “ok’ to confirm that it will delete the old window from your laptop system.
But after that you have to install the window again otherwise your system will not start.
